Troubleshoot FigRay Generation, Saving, and Export

Resolve credit, OCR, vectorization, upscaling, cloud save, and export problems.

Start With These Four Steps

  1. Keep the project tab open and do not repeatedly trigger the same operation.
  2. Refresh, sign in again, and confirm that the account email is verified.
  3. Check the credit balance, active plan, and network connection.
  4. Retry once. If it still fails, record the time, project name, and error text.

Do Not Share Secrets

Support does not need your password, API keys, payment card details, or full database URL. A project name, error text, time, browser, and safe screenshot are normally enough.

Common Errors

Symptom or messageCommon causeWhat to do
Not enough creditsBalance is below the operation costReview the credit cost table, upgrade, or buy a credit pack
FigRay is busyProvider or application rate limitWait briefly and retry once instead of submitting repeatedly
Generation failedProvider timeout, reference problem, or network interruptionShorten the prompt or remove a problematic reference and retry
4K/8K unavailableActive plan is not Plus or ProUse 2K or upgrade to Plus or Pro
Text scan failedOCR limit, large image, small text, or low contrastWait for limits to reset, try a 2K image, or use a clearer version
No text detectedText is small, rotated, blurred, or merged into the backgroundUpscale and retry, or state the exact replacement in a normal revision prompt
Region redraw failedSelection is too small, request is unclear, or provider timed outExpand the selection and request one specific local change
Vectorization failedUnsupported input, provider timeout, or excessive complexityUse PNG/JPEG, retry later, or simplify the image first
Upscaling failedCurrent asset is SVG, plan is ineligible, or provider timed outSVG does not need raster upscaling; check the plan and retry
Cloud sync failedStorage, database, or network problemKeep the tab open and retry saving; do not immediately clear browser data
Storage limit reachedCurrent usage plus the new file exceeds the plan limitCheck usage in Billing, delete unused projects, or upgrade
PPTX is not fully editableSVG contains complex paths, filters, or unrecognized textSimplify in the SVG editor, keep the SVG, and export a PNG fallback

Credit Charges and Refunds

Operations that use a model or processing provider check and charge credits before work starts. Generation, text editing, region redraw, upscaling, white background, and vectorization automatically attempt to refund the charge when provider processing fails. If the balance does not update, refresh the credit page before contacting support with the operation time and project name.

OCR Usage Limits

Text scanning does not use model credits, but it has separate limits. Users without a subscription can scan up to 2 times per minute, 5 times per day, and 10 times in total. Paid users can scan up to 5 times per minute and 30 times per day. Wait for the applicable window to reset instead of repeatedly refreshing.

When Cloud Saving Fails

FigRay uses browser data as a temporary fallback, but local data is not a replacement for cloud backup.

  1. Do not close the tab or clear site data.
  2. Retry saving after the connection recovers.
  3. Export PNG or SVG as a temporary backup when possible.
  4. Reopen the project and confirm that the latest revision synchronized.

Information for Support

  • the FigRay account email;
  • the project name, without confidential research content;
  • the date and approximate time;
  • the complete error message;
  • browser and operating system;
  • the action immediately before the error, such as "save after 4K upscale."
